Eligibility overview
Refunds depend on how much preparatory or fieldwork work has started, and on notice timing. Accepted fee notes define the deposit and milestone schedule for each engagement.
Deposits
A deposit may be required to reserve fieldwork calendar weeks or workshop dates. Deposits are credited against the final invoice. Deposits become non-refundable once script drafting has begun, unless ScriptEngage cancels the engagement.
Full refunds
If we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control and no replacement date is agreed within thirty days, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work.
Partial refunds
If you cancel after script drafting has started but before on-site fieldwork, we invoice for work completed (typically the script draft milestone) and refund unused fieldwork fees. If fieldwork has started, fees for completed days are owed in full; remaining prepaid unused days may be refunded or credited.
Non-refundable items
- Completed workshop sessions and delivered script packs
- Completed readiness review punch-lists already delivered
- Facilitation days already performed
- Reasonable prepaid travel booked with your written approval
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without fee if you give at least ten business days’ notice for Kaohsiung work, or fifteen for travel outside Kaohsiung. Later changes may incur a rescheduling charge of up to one facilitation day rate to cover diary disruption.
No-shows
If process owners fail to attend booked sessions without two business days’ notice, that day is billed as performed. We will attempt to rebook remaining steps subject to availability.
Work already started
Materials prepared for your engagement — draft scripts, sampling maps, issue sheet templates — remain billable for the milestone in which they were produced even if later stages are cancelled.
Refund process and timing
Email hello@scriptengage.digital with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within fourteen business days where the payment provider allows.
